Pool Cleaning Tips: Let Your Pool Do The Work

Freeform poolImagine this: You’ve just built the inground pool of your dreams. You can’t wait to spend day after day enjoying it with your family, right? In this scenario, how often do you see yourself enjoying the pool cleaning? We have a feeling pool cleaning isn’t at the top of your list (that spot is probably reserved for perfecting your cannon-ball).

If you could install a pool that efficiently cleans itself, circulates its own water, and saves money while giving you more time to enjoy it, wouldn’t you? Enter: The Premier Clean system. A system that is custom designed for the unique size and shape of your pool. It is installed to fit flush with your pool floor making it virtually invisible to the eye. It continuously works to keep your pool clean and its water properly circulated and chemically balanced. The Premier Clean system replaces vacuum hoses and other stand-alone pool cleaners so your pool area is uncluttered and always ready to be enjoyed. With in-floor cleaning pop-up nozzles built into the floor of the swimming pool use high pressure streams of water to push dirt, sand, leaves and debris from every corner of the pool towards a special drain.

We know you are capable of maintaining your pool on your own but most importantly, what’s the cost of your time?

When building the pool of your dreams. It’s good to be honest with yourself about how much time you really want to invest in pool cleaning.

  • Do you have kids?
    • Pools that have heavy use by kids tend to get dirtier.
  • Are there a lot of trees in the area?
    • Trees have those pesky leaves that love getting into your pool.
  • How much time do you want to spend cleaning and not playing?

Thankfully, there’s an easier option to pool cleaning.

Celebrity Pools – Lebron James Pool in Coconut Grove

Lebron James Celebrity Swimming PoolWe’re profiling celebrity pools and it’s Lebron James turn this week as we feature his recently former waterfront estate in Coconut Grove. King James lived at this palatial mansion while playing for the Miami Heat from 2010-14. Rumor has it the property had been on the market almost a year after the NBA superstar rejoined the Cavaliers.

The house, which sold for $2 million less than the original listing asking price of $17 million, has all the superstar amenities fit for the King. At 12,178 square feet, it includes six bedrooms, 8.5 bathrooms, a wine cellar, a home theater, an elevator, an incredible infinity pool, roof-top sun deck and dock big enough to fit two yachts (dock em if you got em). As celebrity pools go, Lebron’s old pad is more than your average square hole in the ground with water. A true celebrity pool, it has all the hallmarks of your over-the-top outrageous features.

With that said, Lebron and Queen Savannah did turn a nice profit however, having bought the property five years ago for just $9 million. The family of five currently resides in the Bath Township mansion they’ve called home since 2007. Appraised last year at $9,684,970, it features a two-lane bowling alley, casino, barbershop, recording studio and three-story aquarium.

Exactly What Are Infinity Pools?

An Infinity Pool Design concept is one of the most high end and dramatic pool features homeowners can add. Architectural achievements in their own right, you can often find these types of pools anchored to hillsides and overlooking sweeping vistas with spectacular views. There are many names given to this type of pool.

Many Names But The Same Effect

You may have heard it referred to as a negative edge pool, a zero edge pool, a forever pool, disappearing edge, or a vanishing edge pool. A rose by any other name would smell as sweet, so pick whichever name you’d like – the effect is the same. A reflecting or swimming pool where the water flows over one or more edges and produces a visual effect of a swimming pool where the water has no boundary and appears to go on forever. Such pools are often designed so that the edge of the pool appears to merge with a larger body of water, sometimes flowing into the ocean or appearing to merge with the sky. You can find these pools at exotic resorts and high end luxury homes around the world.
